• 1978

HYDROTECH Water & Environmental Engineering Limited was founded by a group of specialists in the city of Limassol, in Cyprus. The company was formed with the goal of satisfying the growing needs in the field of wastewater treatment, as a result of rapid growth in tourism and infrastructure.

• 1991

HYDROTECH, a.s., joint-stock company, Bratislava, was established in the former Czechoslovakia, to develop activities in Central and Eastern Europe. After the division of Czechoslovakia, the company continued with the construction of wastewater treatment facilities in Slovakia and abroad. Its current headquarters are in Vinosady.

• 1992

HYDROTECH s.r.o. was founded in the Czech Republic to meet local demand for HYDROTECH wastewater treatment plants and HYDROTECH s.r.o became market leader in the Czech Republic. The headquarters are in Brno, and the commercial and marketing departments are in Prague.

• 1994

HYDROTECH Egypt was created to secure expansion in to Northern Africa and contributed fundamentally to protect the beaches on the Red and Mediterranean seas as well as ensure the rational reuse of the water produced by the HYDROTECH wastewater treatment plants. The local offices are located in Cairo.

• 2000

HYDROTECH Engineering S.A. was formed in Romania in order to assist Central European countries facing enormous tasks for environmental solutions. The headquarters are in Bucharest. The resulting proven success of HYDROTECH in the local market and continuous need for environmentally-friendly systems required by the Norms of the European Union in the field of wastewater treatment, new offices were also opened in Cluj – Napoca and Timisoara.
