Meat processing and wastewater treatment - example of a treatment plant 1
The wastewater treatment plant for a customer producing fresh processed meat, smoked products and specialties of cold and hot cuisine is being completed these days. It is a smaller project and its primary goal is to pre-treat wastewater to such parameters that water could flow into the public sewer and further to the municipal wastewater treatment plant. The technology is composed of four parts - mechanical pre-treatment, balancing of irregularity in quality and quantity in a balancing tank, flotation, where the largest amount of pollution is removed in the form of sludge and the last stage is sludge treatment.
