Progressive nitrogen removal

When removing nitrogen from wastewater, we use a truncated nitrogen cycle based on the partial oxidation of a portion of ammoniacal nitrogen and the subsequent biochemical reactions of the resulting nitrite with the rest of ammonia (Anaerobic Ammonium Oxidation).

The process can be applied to wastewater with a concentration of N-NH4 200-5000 mg / l, therefore it is suitable for applications after anaerobic purification. Our Nitrogen Pollution Depletion Method has much lower operating costs than other methods, oxidizes a small amount of nitrogen and does not need an organic substrate. The efficiency achieved in operation is 90 to 95%.
