Evaluation of wastewater treatment process in the meat processing industry

Meat products producers reached to us several times over the last few months. This time we were asked to evaluate used pre-treatment technology of the Dissolved Air Flotation unit (DAF) and following biological treatment system. The second part was a proposal to increase the efficiency of treatment process in case of further increase in production capacity. It is always extremely important to evaluate what options of water discharge are available. Mostly it is a discharge of water into the recipient, into the public sewer, and in recent years it is increasingly an effort to reuse the treated water back in production process.
