How to solve the problem of overloaded or non-functional sedimentation tank

Project of installing a second settling tank was completed by Hydrotech for our brewing partner in the Czech Republic. Since beer is a popular beverage, the reason of overloading is, of course, increased production capacity, and therefore increased production of wastewater. The second settling tank was equipped with automatic scraping of the tank bottom and tank surface with a collecting vessel for floating impurities. Outlet channel will be installed around the perimeter of the tank with a V-notched overflow and a protective submerged wall to prevent floating impurities to escape into the effluent. In this way, the loading is divided into two sedimentation tanks and the process of sludge and treated water separation is intensified.
