Sedimentation tests for waste water with a high content of suspended solids
Tests of sedimentation rates were performed with wastewater generated during paper production and processing of waste paper in our laboratory. Such wastewater is characterized by high content of insoluble substances. One of the first steps of treatment technologies is their separation, most often by sedimentation. To ensure optimal design, tests were performed, based on which the necessary dimensions of the sedimentation tank were specified.
